Ethnic and Religious MakeupOur population consists mostly of people from the Netherlands, people from Sweden, people from the British Isles, slaves from Africa, some Germans, and a few remaining Native Americans. As for religion, there isn't a specific dominant religion. We have Catholics, Quakers, Lutherans, Jews, and other. Our diverse colony is about freedom, with many farmers and ranchers, and immigrants from all over Europe and more.

Employment
There are lots of jobs available in Delaware. Some jobs include working in merchant mills, in which you would be able to make flour in. Other jobs include but are not limited to work in coopering or barrel making industries, shipbuilding areas, lumber industry, fishing, farming and ranching, and the shoe and boot industry where shoes and boots are made from animal skin, Delaware's diverse culture includes many job industries to work in, allowing immigrants from various countries to find something that they are talented in, and unique businesses to come.

Daily LifeNorth America was a land of opportunity for many of the colonists that immigrated here. The majority of colonists in the Middle Colonies worked on, and many owned, small farms. Women commonly run the household as well as the farm, and take care of the children. Wealthy families have servants and direct them to do work. Most men in the colonies are out working on farms or next to the ports. Grain is one of Delaware's staple foods, a large part of Dealware's agriculture. In summary, the men usually are farmers and/or trade tobacco. The women commonly do housework and cook.The girls play with dolls or board games and help their mothers, and the boys play or help with farm work.
